Tropical gem

Good weather, great views, the helpful lovely staff. Best massage we have had. Very comfortable bed and room. Swimming in the ocean at Kata beach was great. Used hotel taxi; only 5 minute drive. Nice food served at restaurant up to midnight.

Amazing place, fantastic staff and overall improved the experience of Kata beach significantly! Will definitely be back!

Everything except going uphill back to the hotel.

Location was on a steep hill, so if you are old or if you aren’t sporty they provide a bus to go to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The free shuttle service was excellent.

The rooms were lovely and spacious. Cleaning service was excellent. Fresh robes everyday, pool towels provided aswell as flip flops. Toiletries replenished daily. Bottles water provided daily. Air- conditioning excellent. The pool area was lovely and relaxing and always plenty choice of beds. Excellent view of Kata beach.

The first few days at breakfast there was a lot of uncovered food e.g fruit, salad, sauces, which were covered in numerous flies crawling on them. Which obviously put us off eating any of that food. We then noticed on about the 5th day, most things were covered and staff were using disinfectant to clean surfaces and most things were now covered. There now was hardly any flies and so eating breakfast was much more comfortable and relaxing.

A pleasant hotel with beautiful views but customer service could be better.

Spacious rooms, nice to be slightly away from the busy town, beautiful views.

Pool was small for hotel size, lots of flies and mosquitos (but not sure what you can do about that), breakfast quite average, staff all seemed stressed, overworked & downtrodden - I felt quite sorry for them - unfortunately as a result they were not particularly helpful or friendly. The hill walk back to the hotel was tough but didn’t bother us.

When checking into the hotel, they require full payment for the period of stay. But they do not accept euros and dollars, which we did not know. You can get to the exchange point by car, which runs once an hour, or along a very steep path and return. But no one called us for a transfer. It was very hot and we were tired. But they refused to provide a room, since there was no payment

A nice family location in Phuket away from the crowds

Very friendly staff, nice and clean rooms on a great environment away from the crowded city center. amazing view to the Kata beach bay. A good service of transport to Kata Beach, always on time. The pool area is kept clean. The restaurant has a nice quality.

The English of the frontdesk staff can improve a bit. The Bar and Restaurant staff can refrain a bit of so many interactions - some times it can be annoying. The butter should be placed on a cold environment to avoid melting.

The room was lovely .. the staff at the pool and the cleaners were lovely .. the view by the pool Was amazing

The pool area is dirty . The whole 10 days we were there , the same stains on the floor (bird pooh and chocolate) were still there. Breakfast is very minimal for a 5 star hotel. Some of the reception staff were unhelpful bordering on rude .

It is a decent enough place to stay. Rooms are big, dimly lit. The free shuttle to and from the beach is necessary! The food we ordered from the restaurant was pretty good.

The location isn’t the best, it’s a super steep hill to get to. The service in the restaurant was very slow.

Nice trip on the hills overlooking Kata.

Very spacious rooms with comfortable beds, great air conditioning, fantastic pool area, shuttle bus every hour to Kata, and a well equipped gym.

Wifi was very poor, breakfast consisted of very low-quality cheap food (so bad I just ate boiled eggs and fruit), limited sun beds (which guests would “claim” with their towels as early as 7am - hotel management need to fix this), and many mosquitoes in the room (housekeeping should close doors when they turn over the room). The rooms were a bit dated.

It was a wonderful holiday for me and my husband as we celebrated our thirtieth anniversary at there

The room was with a spectacular view of sea, big comfortable bed and spacious room, wall decorations were natural tone and were made out of recycled resources which display the commitment of sustainability from the team of Andaman Cannacia and it's management.

People who were staying at the next room were smoking at the balcony and being very noisy and listening their music on speaker which ruined our peaceful and relaxing time in the balcony after our dinner. Smoking should be prohibited and there should be a designated area for the smokers to smoke.

Everything was beautiful. We've got updated in the sea view villa and it was simply amazing. The view was worth the entire stay. Very positive note goes to the Staff too, always caring and smiling.

I don't have any negative comment. I would only suggest to improve a little bit the breakfast with more continental options;

I liked that it was non smoking. I loved the pool area. The room was really decent. We had a top level deluxe room that was nice and private and view of the beach. The towels were sooo soft! Nicest towels of our trip so far!

Nothing really, other than the only mirror in the room was the one in the bathroom. Would be good if there was a full length mirror in the room. The only other comment would be they were setting up for a new years event on the 2 days we were there and they removed the majority of the sunbeds to do this. It would have been great if there was a simple sign explaining this. Also, in regards to location and the walk up the hill. Apparently there’s a back path/steps leading down where you don’t need to go on the road. Reception should inform guests of this. Personally I liked the location, the walk up the hill is only 5 minutes. I had no issues with it. In reference to some of the other review comments, regarding flies and bees at breakfast, of course there will be flies! The food it covered where possible, there’s nothing else the hotel can do. Breakfast in general, I thought was great. Good selection of food and a few different dishes each day. Mould in the bathroom and general wear and tear of the property. Personally, we didn’t have any mould in our bathroom. Yes slight wear and tear but nothing so out there it ruined our stay. I think a little more care could be taken with the grass and gardens along the paths to the rooms.

The view was exceptional and the facilities were clean and well maintained.

Beautiful setting and friendly staff

Very friendly staff, the bed was huge we loved it, location made it easy to get to the main towns and beaches and a lovely breakfast

The pool was small, due to the layout sun beds didn’t receive sun all day, we also only got a sun bed once due to people saving them from early hours. Our room was also quite warm the air con didn’t seem to work fully
